Hesper JetsA cinematic, scroll-driven website for private aviation
A spec website for a private jet charter brand, told as one continuous flight. The scroll opens a cabin window, follows a jet out to the horizon and presents a Bombardier Global 8000, piece by piece. Designed, animated and engineered from a blank page.

Sell the feeling before the seat
Private aviation is bought on trust and on feeling. Most charter websites hurry visitors towards a booking form; this one was designed to make the first ten seconds feel like the start of a flight, and to hold that feeling all the way to the quote.
Hesper Jets is a fictional brand created for this project: the name, the wordmark, the copy and the company figures are invented, and the live site says so on every visit. The design, the motion and the engineering are real, and every scene was designed and coded from a blank page.
A website that feels like the first minutes of a flight.
Open with a feeling, not a form
The site opens on a closed cabin blind. It lifts as the page loads, and the first scroll carries you through the window and into the sky.
Let the scroll tell the story
Two pinned sequences turn the scroll into a timeline. Scroll down and the scene moves forward; scroll back and it rewinds, at whatever pace the visitor chooses.
Present the aircraft properly
A flagship jet introduced like a product launch, then a full fleet library with real manufacturer figures for 100 aircraft.
Smooth, accessible and tested
All of that motion still had to load quickly, run smoothly, read clearly and work for visitors who turn motion off.
Two scenes, played by the scroll
The homepage is built around two pinned scenes. While each one is on screen, the page stops moving and the scroll drives the film and the animation instead, frame by frame.

Through the window
The opening is one continuous shot. The roller blind lifts as the page loads, the first scroll parts the headline and pushes the camera through the porthole, and from there the scroll drives the film itself.
A jet crosses beneath you and climbs away to the horizon as you scroll down, and flies back if you scroll up. The film never plays on its own: every frame is encoded as a keyframe, so it follows the scroll instantly in both directions before settling into the brand statement.

The Global 8000, piece by piece
The second scene introduces the flagship. A top-down airframe climbs between a split nameplate while its range and speed arrive beside it. The cabin floorplan then draws itself line by line, generated in code from the aircraft's published cabin dimensions.
Three cabin suites follow, each held on screen long enough to take in, and the scene resolves into a showcase where a category switcher swaps the aircraft, its photography and its figures in under a fifth of a second.
Watch the full scroll
A real-time recording of the live homepage from top to bottom: the window, the jet, the Global 8000 and the editorial sections that follow. Press play, or open the live site and take the controls yourself.
Screen recording, no sound

The statementThe opening scene settles into the brand story, an independent broker with no fleet to fill, with a counter that runs once as it lands.

The flagshipRange, speed and cabin figures arrive around a top-down Global 8000, all taken from the manufacturer's published specification.

The cabinThree suites under one line, "engineered for arrival", each held on screen for a beat before the next one arrives.

The fleet switcherChoose a category and an aircraft, and the showcase swaps the photography and the figures in place without leaving the page.

The serviceBelow the pinned scenes the page relaxes into editorial sections: art-directed imagery, short copy and plenty of room to breathe.

The appThe companion app section carries the same night palette and photography, so the whole journey reads as one brand.
Engineered for smoothness
Motion on this scale only works if it never stutters. Everything on the page answers to one smoothed scroll position, and nothing heavy is downloaded before it is needed.
One scroll, one timeline
Smooth scrolling drives the animation engine from a single clock, so every pinned scene reads the same smoothed scroll position and stays perfectly in step.
Film you can scrub
The jet crossing is encoded with every frame as a keyframe, so it seeks instantly in both directions. Its first frame matches the loading image exactly, so the hand-over is invisible.
Drawn in code
The porthole, its roller blind and the cabin floorplans are vector drawings built in code, sharp at any size and light to download. The floorplans are generated per aircraft from published dimensions.
Art-directed throughout
The film, the cabin photography and the aircraft imagery were all art-directed to one night-flight palette of navy, moonlight and a last line of sunset, so every frame belongs to the same evening.
A working fleet library
100 aircraft with manufacturer figures, searchable and filterable by category. Each opens in a panel with its own shareable address, and closing it returns you to exactly where you were.
Motion that respects people
Visitors whose devices ask for reduced motion get a calm, static version of every scene, and never download the scroll film at all.
The build
No templates, no page builders, no theme. Every scene designed and coded from a blank page, and checked by 59 automated browser tests before every release.
