A One-Take Hook on the Water
Set in the exclusive island enclave of Ham Island in Windsor, this is a striking home with a rare feature right on its doorstep - the water. Marketed by Duncan Yeardley, the property backs directly onto the canal, and we wanted the film to open with a hook that made the very most of it.
The opening sequence took real skill to pull off. We placed presenter Adele on a boat out on the water and Freya on the property's jetty, then started the drone low, just above the surface, to catch Adele delivering the first line of the hook. From there the drone climbs, carrying the shot up and forward until Freya lands dead-centre of frame on the jetty to finish the line, before continuing to rise and reveal the house behind her - all in a single, unbroken move. It is the kind of choreographed, one-take drone work that takes precise flying to capture and careful editing to land.
From that opening, the film unfolds as a vertical, social-first cinematic tour, built for Instagram and designed to stop the scroll. Produced for Duncan Yeardley, it pairs the aerial hook with clean interior and exterior cinematography, colour grading and sound design to present this Ham Island home as something genuinely special.
