2025: A Year in Review - Growth, Creativity, and Exciting Things to Come

As 2025 draws to a close, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on what has been an incredible year for One Stop Creative Agency. From property videography to web development, custom software to social media management, it's been a year of growth, creativity, and some genuinely exciting projects.

Property Videography: Ending the Year Strong

This year has seen some huge leaps forward in the property videography side of the business. I've had the privilege of working with some of the biggest estate agents in the country - delivering cinematic property videos, vertical social-first content, drone footage, and photography that helps properties stand out in a competitive market.

The quality bar has been raised significantly this year, with investments in new equipment, refined editing techniques, and a real focus on creating content that not only looks great but actually performs on social media. Vertical video has become a huge part of what I do, and it's been brilliant to see agents embracing this format to reach buyers and renters where they spend their time - on their phones.

Supporting Great Causes: The Jennett's Park Christmas Lights

One of the highlights of the year has been working on the Jennett's Park Christmas Lights project. This community event raises money for two brilliant charities - the British Heart Foundation and Camp Mohawk - and I was thrilled to be asked to capture it on film.

What started as a single video turned into a trilogy of edits, each one showcasing a different aspect of the event - from the big switch-on moment to interviews with the organisers and residents, to a highlights reel set to a completely custom Christmas song that I wrote and produced specifically for the project.

The response has been fantastic. Across Instagram and Facebook alone, the three videos have racked up over 21,000 views. More importantly, the videos have helped drive awareness and donations for both charities, and I'm told the event broke its fundraising record this year. That's what it's all about - using creativity to make a genuine difference.

The Client Portal: Big Agency Features, Small Agency Service

One of the biggest developments this year has been the launch of my custom-built client portal. This is something I've been working on for a while, and I'm really proud of how it's turned out.

The portal gives my clients - primarily estate agents - the ability to book shoots directly, see my real-time availability, and manage their projects from start to finish. No more back-and-forth emails trying to find a time that works. No more chasing for updates. Everything is in one place.

Clients can:

  • See all current, upcoming, and past projects
  • Book new shoots on a first-come, first-served basis
  • Receive automatic email notifications at every stage - booking confirmed, approved, completed
  • Download final files directly from the portal or via email

It's been built to support multiple users per office, multiple offices per company, and gives everyone visibility of what's booked to avoid any double-booking headaches. It's the kind of system you'd expect from a big agency, but with the personal service of working with someone local who actually cares about the quality of the output.

Web Development and Custom Software: A Growing Side of the Business

Web development has always been part of what I offer - I've been building websites since I was 13 - but 2025 has seen it become a much bigger part of the business. There have been some brilliant projects this year, from clean, modern websites for aesthetics clinics and estate agents through to bespoke software solutions.

Custom Screen Display Software - This has been a really exciting area. I've developed software that allows businesses to display dynamic content on screens in their windows or reception areas - whether that's property listings pulled automatically from their CRM via API, Google reviews in a carousel, promotional slides, or video content. It's a one-off cost, fully customised to their branding, and something I'm rolling out to more businesses in 2026.

Looking Ahead to 2026

I'm genuinely excited about what's coming in 2026. There are some big projects in the pipeline - both on the video production side and the software development side - and I can't wait to share more as they come together.

On the property media front, I'll be continuing to push the quality and creativity of what I deliver. Expect more cinematic content, more drone work, and more social-first video designed to stop the scroll and drive results.

On the tech side, the screen software is going to be a real focus. I've already got several installations lined up for early 2026, and I'm looking forward to helping more businesses make an impact with eye-catching digital displays.

There's also a lot happening with social media management - a completely custom social management platform in development and new clients being onboarded. It's a very exciting time.

And of course, I'll be continuing to build and refine the client portal - always looking for ways to make things easier and more efficient for the people I work with.
